Ben Tre Import and Export Joint-stock Company was founded in 1976 and officially privatized in 2006 with the trade name as Betrimex. Company headquarter and the factory system are located in Ben Tre province - where the area of coconut cultivating is largest in our country, with over 70,000 hectares and annual harvest of 450 million coconuts.
With our constant efforts, Betrimex has operated at an outstanding speed of development. Betrimex has always been a pioneer in business and a leader among most effective business-based units of Ben Tre province; and has created hundreds of jobs for local workers.
Our operation fields includes producing, processing and trading coconut-related products; agricultural products; OEM for export; traveling services and financial investment. Betrimex products includes: Packaged coconut water, Dried coconut fruit, Desiccated coconut (including: Fine, Medium, Chips, Thread, Flake), Coconut fibers, products of coconut fiber, Coconut charcoal, activated coconut shell charcoal, and other agricultural products. Among them, packaged coconut water and desiccated coconut are the flagship products of our company.
Our strategic direction focuses on product quality, with that the motto "Product quality and reputation" is always the first criteria followed strictly by Betrimex. Our company has successfully adopted several advanced quality management systems such as: ISO 22000: 2005, HACCP, GMP, HALAL, KOSHER and ORGANIC.
Currently, Betrimex has 05 branches and 02 affiliated companies; with a total of 1000 employees. Our export turnover reaches 48 million USD/year. The total export of our products processed from coconut is over 20,000 tons/year.
In 2015, Betrimex completed Thanh Thanh Cong Factory Project in Phong Nam Industrial Zone, Giong Trom District, Ben Tre Province; with the area of more than 7.5 ha and capacity of 42 million liters of coconut water and 14,040 tons of coconut milk per year. It is expected that Betrimex network will continue to be expanded in scale of the plants and distribution system in many provinces across the country and around the world.
Now, Betrimex is an official member of Vietnam's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Vietnam's Fruit and Vegetable Association (Vinafruit) and Ben Tre Coconut Association (BTCA).
